FEL plumbing

I bought a Yanmar YM2000D a few years ago. It had an FEL already installed. It is plumbed wrong according to the schematic from Yanmar. It has the pressure going to top of the valve under the seat and then oot of the same valve the side port has a line going to the in side of FEL valve. On the return side of the FEL it has a hose going back to tank.
If I hook it up the way yanmar says, how does fluid get back to tank?

I have that drawing. Yes it will work. I was over thinking the whole thing. Fittings will be here today. The TPH valve has an open center, so that allows fluid to go to tank. Thank you.
