New Head?

I have a ym2210. I overheated it over the winter and ever since it’s been smoking(white smoke)real bad. I decided to tear it apart today to inspect it. I got the head off and it doesn’t look to be in the greatest shape. A lot of pitting especially near the valve that concerns me. I’m thinking I’m going to need a new head. I don’t think this is the only reason it was smoking and I’ll be replacing the piston rings as well while it is apart. Opinions please

Looks like that cylinder has been running on half coolant for a while. Does look pretty rough. What does the valve seat look like? Have you checked it for warpage?

I haven’t disassembled it yet. I’ll strip it down and check the seat and for warpage. The tractor has always ran great. It was still running great just smoking like a freight train. I’ve only owned it for about 2 years and It’s never given me any problems.

Update on head. Got it stripped down. The valve seat it looking a bit questionable. Contemplating just buying a loaded head. Got the cylinder sleeves pulled and the new pistons/rings and sleeves came in today. Thank you Hoye Tractor for the quick service.

May just be picture but the head looks like it has cracks. I'm thinking a new head may be needed.
